BUENOS AIRES (ICIS)--The Latin American Petrochemical Association (APLA) had 880 registered delegates for its annual meeting starting on Sunday in Buenos Aires, a conference official said.
The figure is higher than the attendance record set in 2007, when 823 delegates participated of the conference in the Argentinean capital.
The final 2011 attendance figure will be available when the conference ends on Tuesday.
The annual event is usually held in early November in Argentina, Mexico or Brazil.
APLA drew 815 delegates to the 2010 conference in Rio de Janeiro.
