SHANGHAI (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) has restarted its 70,000 tonne/year acrylic fibre (AF) plant on 7 November, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant was shut down for one week since 1 November because of electrical and pipeline maintenance, the source added.
“Now it is running well at normal rate,” the source said in Mandarin, but did not disclose the actual operating rate of the plant.
The AF plant is located at Kaohsiung city in Taiwan.
