HOUSTON (ICIS)—US polycarbonate (PC) exports for September were up by 28% from the same month a year ago, according to data released by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) on Thursday.
Exports increased to 39,788 tonnes from 31,017 tonnes in September 2010.
The increase was the result of greater volumes shipped to ?xml:namespace>
Month on month, imports fell by 36% to 3,799 tonnes from 5,933 tonnes in September, the ITC said.
Top destinations for US PC were
US producers of PC include Bayer, SABIC and Styron.
