SHANGHAI (ICIS)--BASF-YPC restarted its 200,000 tonne/year LDPE plant in Nanjing province on Friday after a brief turnaround, market sources said.

The plant was shut on 6 November, they said.

The maintenance had little impact on China’s LDPE market as the downstream demand is weak, a local distributor said.

BASF-YPC officials could not be reached for comment.
