LONDON (ICIS)--Belgium-based Ravago Group and Netherlands-based Barentz Europe have decided to combine their chemical distribution activities in a new 50:50 joint venture, they said on Wednesday.
The new company, Barentz Ravago Chemical Specialist, will have total consolidated annual sales of over €160m ($216m) and be operational as of 1 January 2012.
The companies said their aim is to become one of the leading chemicals speciality distributors in ?xml:namespace>
In addition, the new joint venture will cooperate with Spain-based chemicals distributor Campi y Jove, a joint venture held 50% by Ravago, which covers
