HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories and production rates moved higher last week, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Wednesday.
US ethanol inventories were at 17.1m bbl in the week that ended 11 November, up 700,000 bbl or 4% from a week earlier.
The increase also snapped a two-week decline in inventories.
Meanwhile, ethanol production rates were at 916,000 bbl/day, up by 5,000 bbl or 0.5% from the previous week.
