SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Mitsubishi Gas Chemical (MGC) is likely to run its 51,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Niigata at 80-90% after restarting the unit over the weekend, a company source said on Friday.

The plant, located in northwest Japan, will be restarted on 20 November after its turnaround, he said.

MGC shut the plant on 10 October for scheduled maintenance that took 40 days, said the source.
