China starts antidumping survey on glycol ethers from US, EU

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Ministry of Commerce announced that the country has started an antidumping survey on ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether imports from the US and the EU, a ministry official said on Monday.

The survey started on 18 November. “We will investigate how the ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether cargoes from the US and the UN impact the Chinese domestic market,” the source said.

The Ministry of Commerce did not say when the survey will end.
