The country’s domestic shipments totalled 12,046 tonnes in October 2011, down by 9.3% from October 2010, while its exports fell by 3.3% to 382 tonnes, according to the Japan Polypropylene Film Industry Association.
Among the domestic shipments,
The country’s production of oriented PP film decreased by 1.6% to 18,906 tonnes in October from the same period a year before, according to the association.
Its domestic shipments of oriented PP film fell by 11% to 17,673 tonnes in October year on year, while its exports of the product rose by 15% to 376 tonnes, the data showed.
