LONDON (ICIS)--WR Grace has completed the expansion of its manufacturing facility in ?xml:namespace>
The expansion enables WR Grace to increase production of silica gel for the renewable fuels industry, particularly for biodiesel and renewable diesel, as well as other consumer and industrial applications, it added.

The Sorocaba site began silica production in 1984 and is currently Grace’s largest facility in Latin America, producing more than 50 grades of silica, which are used for applications such as paints, plastics, beer and other beverages, pharmaceuticals and edible oils, the company said.
