Shell restarts Texas cracker after planned maintenance

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Shell has restarted its Deer Park olefins cracker in Texas, which was off line for a turnaround, market sources said on Monday.

The 835,000 tonne/year unit was taken down on 10 October.

The facility was restarted on Friday, according to information in the market.

A Shell spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
