SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangxi Guixi Fertilizer Company restarted its 300,000 tonne/year diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant at Jiangxi in east China on 29 November, a company source said on Wednesday.

“The company shut the plant for regular annual maintenance on 17 October,” the source said.

In addition to its DAP capacity, the plant can produce 300,000 tonnes/year of monoammonium phosphate (MAP), according to the source.

The shutdown did not have a significant impact on the domestic market because the plant’s capacity is low, the source added.
