HOUSTON (ICIS)--LyondellBasell was restarting its La Porte cracker in Texas on Wednesday, following a brief outage the previous day, the company said.

Emissions associated with the start-up process were expected to last until 4 December, the company said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

LyondellBasell does not comment on its operations, according to a spokesperson.

The cracker in La Porte has 789,000 tonnes/year of ethylene capacity.
