US Q3 ACN production dips almost 6% year on year – NPRA

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US third-quarter acrylonitrile (ACN) production was 692.4m lb (314,071 tonnes), a 5.7% decrease from 733.9m lb one year earlier, according to data received by ICIS from the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA) on Wednesday.

Data for ACN production in the second quarter was not available, the group said. The NPRA’s quarterly data is based on voluntary reports.
