HOUSTON (ICIS)--A subsidiary of Chevron Phillips Chemical has completed its acquisition of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) plant in Belgium from Neste Oil, the US-based chemical producer said on Wednesday.
The plant in Beringen “enables us to better service the growing demand for PAOs that are used in high performance lubricants and other applications", said Dennis Holtermann, general manager of normal alpha olefins and polyalphaolefins for Chevron Phillips.
Chevron Phillips did not disclose the cost of the acquisition.
