Taiwan's CPC to shut No 4 cracker for turnaround on 5 December

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s state-run CPC Corp will take its 385,000 tonne/year No 4 naphtha cracker at Linyuan in Kaohsiung off line on 5 December for a turnaround lasting 40-43 days, a company official said on Thursday.

The cracker is running at 90% capacity, he added.

CPC’s two other crackers in Kaohsiung, a 500,000 tonne/year No 5 cracker and a 230,000 tonne/year No 3 naphtha cracker, are also operating at 90% capacity, he said.
