LyondellBasell sets US BD on allocation at 90% for December

HOUSTON (ICIS)--LyondellBasell put US butadiene (BD) supply on allocation at 90% for December, the company said in a letter sent to customers on Thursday.

The figure compares with a restriction of 85% in November.

The supply restriction was caused by minor manufacturing issues, the company said last month.

LyondellBasell has two BD extraction units in Texas in operation with a combined 460,000 tonnes/year of capacity.

A company spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
