HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories and production rates moved higher heading into December, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Wednesday.
US ethanol inventories were at 17.9m bbl in the week that ended on 2 December, up by 900,000 bbl or 5.3% from 17.0m bbl the previous week.
Meanwhile, ethanol production rates were at 954,000 bbl, up by 24,000 bbl or 2.6% from 930,000 bbl a week earlier.
