China’s soap maker JLL shuts down glycerine plant for 10 days

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s soap maker Jiangsu Clear Land Daily Chemical Co., Ltd, also known as JLL, has shut down its 6,000 tonne/year glycerine plant at Huaian City in Jiangsu province, east China on 6 December for technical maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant will remain off line for 10 days, the source added.

The maintenance will not have an impact on the glycerine market as demand is weak and the company mainly supplies material to its regular customers.
