SAO PAULO (ICIS)--Germany-based chemical products firm Henkel plans to build a polyurethane (PU) plant in Brazil, the company said on Friday.
The unit will be built in Jundiai, Sao Paulo, Henkel said. The company already operates a PU unit in the same location.
Construction will start in 2012 and the plant is expected to begin operating in 2013.
The plant will supply PU for the Brazilian and Latin American markets, the company added.
Henkel did not disclose investment or capacity numbers for the project.
