DUBAI (ICIS)--Saudi Arabia’s Petro Rabigh has been running its 300,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Rabigh at 80–90% since restarting the plant in the second half of August following maintenance work, a company source said on Wednesday.
Production at the HDPE plant will be ramped up to 100% of capacity by the end of December, he added.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the 6th GPCA (Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association) Forum, which is being held in Dubai.
The 6th GPCA Forum is being held from 13–15 December, with the theme Moving Downstream – Creating Value and Sustainable Growth.
