HOUSTON (ICIS)--US propylene inventories rose by 7% last week, representing the 13th consecutive weekly increase, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data showed on Wednesday.
The increase took stockpiles to 4.945m bbl in the week that ended on 9 December.
EIA figures refer to non-fuel refinery-sourced propylene.
Meanwhile, US refinery operating rates dropped to 85.1% capacity against 87.7% a week earlier, EIA data showed.
December refinery-grade propylene (RGP) on Tuesday traded at 39 cents/lb ($860/tonne, €662/tonne), down from 40-41 cents/lb a week earlier.
