HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories and production rates declined last week, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Wednesday.
US ethanol inventories were at 17.1m bbl in the week that ended on 9 December, down by 800,000 bbl or 4% from 17.9m bbl the previous week.
Ethanol production rates in the US were at 938,000 bbl/day, down by 16,000 bbl/day or 2% from 954,000 bbl/day a week earlier.
