GPCA '11: Kuwait’s Equate Petrochemical runs HDPE/LLDPE at 103%

DUBAI (ICIS)--Kuwait’s Equate Petrochemical is running its high density polyethylene/linear low density polyethylene (HDPE/LLDPE) swing plant at 103%, CEO Hamad Al-Terkait said on Thursday.

“Although the gas feedstock is short in Kuwait, our PE units are running well,” he said.

Al-Terkait was speaking at an interview with ICIS on the sidelines of the sixth annual GPCA (Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association) forum.
