LONDON (ICIS)--Raimar Jahn has been appointed president of BASF’s polyurethanes (PU) division, effective 1 March 2012, the Germany-based chemicals major said on Friday.
BASF said that Jahn, who is currently head of the company’s coatings division, will succeed Wayne Smith, who has been appointed to BASF’s board of executive directors, effective 27 April.
Meanwhile, the company is to appoint Markus Kamieth as successor to Jahn at the coatings division, it said.
Kamieth is currently senior vice president of performance chemicals in North America.
