SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Cocochem 36,000tonnes/year fatty alcohol plant in Luzon, Philippines, will be taken off line by end December for annual maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

The planned shut down is likely to last for three weeks, the source added.

The shutdown will have very little impact on the market because it is pre-planned and alcohol supply in the market remains “ample”, traders said.
