SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) futures increased by 0.32% on Thursday on rising physical market prices, industry sources said.

May LLDPE futures, the most actively traded contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), closed at CNY 9,385/tonne ($1,480/tonne) on Thursday, an increase of CNY30/tonne from Wednesday’s settlement price.
About 1.83m tonnes, or 0.73m May contracts, were traded on Thursday, DCE data showed.
