SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will shut a crude distillation unit (CDU) at its refinery complex in Jamnagar for about three weeks for a planned turnaround in mid-February this year, the firm said late on Wednesday.
In addition, RIL will take steps to improve the productivity of its other secondary processing units as necessary during the shutdown period, the company said in a statement.
“During this period, [the] other three crude distillation units at Jamnagar refining complex are expected to sustain normal operations,” the statement added.
RIL did not specify in the statement the capacities or the number of its CDUs at the Jamnagar refinery complex.
