HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories and production rates increased in the last week of December, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Thursday.
The inventory data was delayed by one day because of the Federal holiday on Monday.
Ethanol inventories for the week that ended on 30 December were at 17.9m bbl, up 200,000 bbl or 1% from 17.7m bbl the week prior.
Meanwhile, ethanol production rates in the US were at 962,000 bbl/day, up by 1,000 bbl or 0.1% from 963,000 bbl the previous week.
