MOSCOW (ICIS)--Ukraine’s leading titanium dioxide producer, Crimean Titanium, said on Wednesday that it had increased its titanium dioxide output last year by 2%.
In 2011, the company’s titanium dioxide output amounted to 108,069 tonnes – up from 105,681 tonnes in the previous year – it said in a statement.
The 2011 figure amounts to the company’s highest titanium dioxide annual production so far, according to the statement.
Crimean Titanium produces about 90% of the country’s total titanium dioxide, and exports more than 70% of its output volumes. Ukraine’s other main titanium dioxide producer is Sumykhimprom.
