China’s Changshu Lianbang shuts solvent oil plant for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Changshu Lianbang shut its 100,000 tonne/year solvent oil plant at Changshu in Jiangsu province on 16 January for maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.

The turnaround is scheduled to last 15 days as the company is expecting demand to be weak over the next two weeks because of the Lunar New Year holiday on 22-28 January, the source said.

The company will only supply a small volume of No 1500 and No 1800 aromatic solvent oils to contract buyers during the maintenance period, the source added.

Changshu Lianbang mainly produces No 1000, No 1500 and No 1800 products.
