Poland's Synthos in €100m PS deal with packaging maker PACCOR

LONDON (ICIS)--Poland's Synthos has agreed a zlotych (Zl) 440.6m ($126.6, €99.9m) deal to supply polystyrene (PS) to European rigid packaging manufacturer PACCOR, the synthetic rubber producer said on Tuesday.

PS deliveries would take place from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2014, it added.

Paccor, with its headquarters in Germany, has 19 manufacturing plants in 13 European countries, making products including plastic cups, containers, lids, trays and coextruded sheets for food and non-food applications.

Synthos is Europe's second largest synthetic rubber producer and also a maker of styrenics.
