HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Chevron Phillips Chemical (CP Chem) on Thursday announced three changes to its management team.

Greg Wagner will be vice president human resources, effective on 1 February, replacing Chantal Veevaete, who was chosen for executive management team for Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips’ planned independent downstream company. ConocoPhillps will become an exploration and production company.

Wagner previously served as Chevron’s vice president human resources for downstream and chemicals.

Also effective on 1 February, Trevor Roberts, the treasurer for CP Chem, will assume the role of interim chief financial officer while the company continues its search for a replacement for Greg Maxwell, who will also join Phillips 66.

Then on 1 April, Dennis Holtermann will become vice president research and technology for CP Chem. He replaces Mary Jane Hagenson, who will retire.

Chevron and ConocoPhillips each own a 50% share of CP Chem. Once ConocoPhillips completes its split into two companies, its share of CP Chem will transfer to Phillips 66.

The split is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2012.
