BOGOTA (ICIS)--Pemex’s chemical subsidiary began maintenance on its ethylene complex in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, the Mexican producer said on Wednesday.
Normal operations would continue in the other process plants and the maintenance would not affect production, the company said.
The work on a compressor plant was expected to be complete and restart during the first week of February, Pemex said.
The ethylene plant can produce 200,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS plants and projects.
