SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Maruzen Petrochemical plans to shut its 520,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker in Chiba for turnaround starting 9 May, said a company source on Thursday.
The cracker is expected to resume operations on 21 June, the source said.
Maruzen is currently running its cracker at 80% of capacity, he added.
