PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil (ICIS)--Brazil-based energy company Petrobras plans to increase capacity at its biodiesel plant in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, by 40%, the company said on Thursday.
The expansion plan was part of a deal that Petrobras signed with the state government of Minas Gerais, it said. Under a letter of intent signed by the two, the plant would increase its biodiesel production from 108.6m litres/year to 152m litres/year, Petrobras said.
The value of the expansion project is reais (R) 28m ($16m, €12m).
