SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi major Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has achieved normal operation rates at its Al-Jubail polypropylene (PP) plants after a power outage that occurred at the industrial park on 19 January, a source close to SABIC said on Monday.
The source did not specify the duration of the outage, but added that no major production loss was incurred from the unexpected shutdown.
“The plants are running normally now at about 70-80%,” the source said.
SABIC’s official could not be reached for comment.
