SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jingmen Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec at Jingmen in Hubei province, is running its reformer plant inconsistently after restarting it in December, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant was restarted in the middle of December 2011 after it was shut down in November for planned maintenance, the source added.
The unit can produce 30,000 tonnes/year of benzene, according to the source.
"The products of the unit have been off-standard up to now and it has not been confirmed when the on-spec products could be achieved,” the source added.
