SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Qatar International Petroleum Marketing (Tasweeq) has sold by tender 50,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha and 25,000 tonnes of plant condensate for loading from Ras Laffan at the end of March, traders said on Thursday.
The cargoes were done at premiums of $26-27/tonne (€19.80-20.50/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), which are higher than the previous tender sale because of strong demand for naphtha in Europe and Asia, the traders added.
Tasweeq last sold by tender 50,000 tonnes of plant condensate and 30,000-50,000 tonnes of Pearl GTL (gas-to-liquids) naphtha for loading in February, at a premium of around $22/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
