LONDON (ICIS)--The European February styrene customer reference price (CRP) has been settled at €1,342/tonne ($1,766/tonne), up €122/tonne from the previous month, the seller involved said on Thursday.
The increase this month was in line with the initial February barge contract. The upward movement has come from higher feedstock costs as demand remains slow in 2012.
“Margins are very poor again,” said the producer, adding: “The raw material movements mean we stand still again.”
The contract was agreed on a free carrier (FCA) ?xml:namespace>
