MOVES: US Sunoco's financial officer to replace Elsenhans as CEO

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Sunoco's chief financial officer, Brian MacDonald, will replace Lynn Elsenhans as CEO, effective on 1 March, the US-based refiner said on Thursday.

MacDonald will also replace Elsenhans as chairman of Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics Partners at the company's annual meeting of shareholders, to be held in May.

In addition, Michael Hennigan will become chief executive of Sunoco Logistics, effective on 1 March. He currently is president and chief operating officer of the company.

The changes come as Sunoco leaves the refining business.
