HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based producer Eastman plans to restart an ethylene oxide (EO) plant in Longview, Texas, on Saturday, the company said on Friday.
The plant was shut down to repair a valve bonnet, Eastman said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The company said it does not expect any impact on customers.
The plant has an EO capacity of 105,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS plants and projects.
