PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil (ICIS)--Sales of Brazilian fertilizers increased by 15% in 2011, a Brazilian trade group said on Monday.
Sales in 2011 increased from 24.52m of tonnes to 28.33m tonnes, according to the fertilizer trade group, called the Associacao Nacional para Difusao de Adubos (Anda)
Domestic production of intermediate fertilizers increased by 5.6%, from 9.33m tonnes in 2010 to 9.86m tonnes in 2011.
Fertilizer exports in 2011 fell by 8.8% year on year.
