HOUSTON (ICIS)--Enterprise Products is curtailing operations at one of its Mont Belvieu propylene splitters in Texas to allow for maintenance on an associated pipeline, the company said on Tuesday in a public filing.

The procedure may result in the flaring of hydrocarbons that would not otherwise occur, Enterprise said in the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Enterprise has six propylene fractionation facilities in Mont Belvieu, with a combined 87,000 bbl/day of capacity.
