HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories rose for the sixth week in a row last week, despite a small drop in daily production, US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Wednesday.
Ethanol stocks stood at 21.1m bbl in the week ended 3 February, up by 2.4% from 20.6m bbl in the previous week.
Meanwhile, ethanol production totalled 923,000 bbl/day, down by 1.7% from 939,000 bbl/day in the week ended 27 January, the EIA said.
