MOVES: Maria das Graca Silva Foster named Petrobras CEO

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Maria das Graca Silva Foster was appointed president and CEO of Brazilian state energy producer Petrobras, effective on 13 February, the company said on Thursday.

The company’s governing board picked Foster to replace Jose Sergio Gabrielli.

Foster has been with Petrobras for 31 years, and has been gas and energy director since 2007, the company said.

Foster was nominated for the position by board president Guido Mantega, the company said.
