Japan Jan local shipments of foamed PS sheets fall 16% from Dec

TOKYO (ICIS)--
This reflected lower shipments for all applications including roll trays, general use and laminated bowls, based on the data from the Japan Polystyrene Foamed Sheet Industry Association (JASFA)
On a year-on-year basis, shipments of the product inched up by 1.3%, based on the statistics.
Foamed PS sheets are used for packaging food products such as fresh seafood and meat, as well as bowls for instant noodles.
