SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Daqing Petrochemical will shut its two paraffin wax units at Heilongjiang province on 1 April for 45 days of maintenance, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.
The PetroChina subsidiary runs a 90,000 tonne/year and a 120,000 tonne/year plant at the same site.
Other regional producers of paraffin wax include Sinopec and Taiwan Wax.
