SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical, a subsidiary of PetroChina, is planning to shut its 9.5m tonne/year refinery at Jilin in late May for scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The turnaround is expected to last one month, according to the source.
The refinery consists of two crude distillation units, with capacities of 3.5m tonnes/year and 6m tonnes/year respectively, the source said.
The facility mainly processes domestic Daqing crude and imported Russian crude, the source added.
