Japan’s JX Nippon Oil seeks $100/tonne rise for March PX ACP

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy is seeking a $100/tonne (€75/tonne) increase for its March paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP), a company source said on Wednesday.
The company nominated a price of $1,690/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia, he said.
Rival producer S-Oil earlier nominated its March PX ACP at $1,690/tonne CFR Asia.
The February PX ACP was fully settled at $1,590/tonne CFR Asia.
ExxonMobil and Idemitsu Kosan have yet to nominate their respective March PX ACP as at 15:30 hours Singapore time.
